02The problem
The technology is only as good as the infrastructure beneath it.
Most technology problems in expensive homes are not caused by the device. They are caused by decisions made before the device ever arrives — cable routes, containment, plant space, ceiling voids, lighting circuits, network topology and the coordination between trades that never quite happened.
By the time a system is switched on, those decisions are already behind plaster. What follows is a sequence of compromises presented to the client as choices.

Rescue
The project is already under construction.
A house is close to completion and the systems do not work together. We review the existing infrastructure, identify the constraints, document what is actually there, and determine what can be recovered, corrected or redesigned before handover. Rescue is a project-stage intervention rather than a separate business line — it can precede Develop, Transform or Experience.

A smart-home company lists lights, blinds, air conditioning, security and an app. We begin with a different question: what should the environment do for the person living in it? The engineering makes it possible. The experience is what is actually lived.

Air & Temperature
CO₂ held below 800 ppm, relative humidity 40–60%, PM2.5 beneath WHO guidance.
Sound & Acoustics
RT60 calibrated to room volume; mechanical noise engineered out at first fix.
Water
Treated at source and at point of use, specified to the household and its usage.
Sleep
Bedrooms authored as instruments of recovery — light, thermal drift, acoustics, blackout.
