Ten stages to an extraordinary environment.

AKMZA follows a proprietary design-first methodology. We design environments — not systems. From the first architectural drawing to lifelong AIR Service Maintenance, every phase has defined deliverables so the client knows precisely what they receive.

  1. IWeek 1–2

    Architectural Review

We begin where the architect ends. AKMZA reads the drawings — plans, elevations, MEP, lighting RCPs — and maps every room against the Six Longevity Pillars before a single device is specified.

    What you receive
    • Architectural drawing review report
    • Room-by-room longevity opportunity map
    • Preliminary infrastructure requirements (cabling, conduits, ceiling voids)
    • Coordination notes for the architect and MEP consultant
  2. IIWeek 2–3

    System Recommendation

A written brief proposing the intelligent systems the residence calls for — lighting, climate, acoustics, shading, water, sleep environments, security, AV — calibrated to the family's rhythm, not a catalogue.

    What you receive
    • System recommendation brief
    • Sub-brand allocation (AKMZA Systems · Living · Studio)
    • Indicative technology stack
    • Pillar-by-pillar rationale
  3. IIIWeek 3–4

    Client Engagement Presentation

A private presentation — in Dubai, or by appointment in New York, London or Singapore — walking the client through the proposed environment, the longevity reasoning, and a curated set of reference projects.

    What you receive
    • Bespoke presentation document
    • Material and finish references (keypads, grilles, fabrics)
    • Reference project case studies
    • Q&A session with the founder
  4. IVWeek 4–5

    Pre-Quotation

A scoped pre-quotation showing the investment range and what shapes it. Transparent, unhurried, and revised until the scope reflects the client's intent precisely.

    What you receive
    • Pre-quotation document with scope summary
    • Investment range by sub-system
    • Inclusions, exclusions and assumptions
    • Programme outline (indicative timeline)
  5. VWeek 5–6

    Acceptance, Quotation & Contract

On acceptance, the formal quotation, contract and payment schedule are issued. Payment is structured 60 / 30 / 10 across the life of the project so the client's investment is always aligned with progress on site.

    Payment Structure
    60%
    On contract signature
    30%
    On installation
    10%
    On completion
    What you receive
    • Final quotation
    • Signed commission agreement
    • Payment schedule and invoice
    • Project charter and points of contact
  6. VIWeek 6–10

    System Design

Engineering begins. Every sub-system is designed in detail and coordinated with the architect, interior designer and MEP team so nothing is improvised on site.

    What you receive
    • System architecture diagrams
    • Load schedules and power calculations
    • Network and integration topology
    • Coordination drawings with architect and MEP
  7. VIIWeek 8–12

Shop Drawings, Heat Maps & System Drawings

The technical drawing set the install team builds from — and the client keeps for the life of the home.

    What you receive
    • Shop drawings — keypad layouts, rack elevations, plate details, conduit routes
    • Wi-Fi and wireless heat maps — predictive and post-install coverage analysis
    • System drawings — single-line diagrams, structured cabling, lighting and climate zoning
    • IP and device schedules
    • As-designed documentation pack
  8. VIIIOngoing

    Project Execution

Procurement, factory programming, and site coordination. Materials arrive ordered, labelled, and aligned to the architect's programme.

    What you receive
    • Procurement schedule and lead-time tracker
    • Factory pre-programming of head-end equipment
    • Site coordination minutes
    • Snag-free milestone sign-offs
  9. IXOn Site

    Installation & Programming

On-site installation by AKMZA-trained engineers, followed by calibration of every scene, schedule and integration. The technology is tuned to the family, not the other way around.

    What you receive
    • Cabling, termination and device installation
    • Lighting and climate scene programming
    • Circadian schedule calibration
    • Acoustic and AV tuning
    • Integration testing across all sub-systems
  10. XCompletion · Ongoing Membership

Handover, Aftercare & AIR Service Maintenance

A guided handover with the principals and household team, complete documentation, and ongoing aftercare under AKMZA Concierge. On completion, the residence is enrolled in AIR Service Maintenance — a membership and insurance-backed programme providing preventive care, system health monitoring, priority support and lifecycle coverage for the intelligent environment.

    What you receive
    • Walkthrough and training session with principals and household team
    • Full as-built documentation pack (digital and bound)
    • User guides and quick-reference cards
    • Warranty register
    • AIR Service Maintenance membership — preventive care, seasonal recalibration
    • AIR Service Maintenance membership — remote monitoring and priority support
    • AIR Service Maintenance membership — insurance-backed lifecycle coverage
